‘De Brug’, the Maastoren and Koningshavenbrug / ‘De Hef’ during nightfall.
Partly visible on the left: Unilever Netherlands BV headquarters ‘De Brug’ (‘The Bridge’) of architect Chris de Jonge (JHK Architecten) on the Nassaukade, office tower ´Maastoren´, former railroad bridge the Koningshavenbrug of architect P. Joosting, better known as ´De Hef´, and the Erasmusbrug / Erasmus Bridge of architect Ben van Berkel. The Maastoren, located on the so-called ´Kop van Zuid´, is designed by architectural office Dam & Partners in cooperation with Odile Decq Benoit Cornette. The Maastoren is home to, amongst others, Deloitte, Mabanaft and AKD Prinsen van Wijmen. The Koningshavenbrug is a vertical-lift bridge, which was opened in 1927 and which was used in 1993 for the last time. Photo shot during nightfall.
