Housing block Laankwartier, the Latenstein flour factory and the New Orleans residential tower (Feijenoord, Rotterdam, the Netherlands).
Morning shot of housing block Laankwartier of architectural office ‘Claus en Kaan Architecten’ and the Latenstein flour factory of architect J.J.M. Vegter, with on its roof the so-called ‘Codrico Cube’ (Codrico Kubus), its characteristic elevator house, both located on the Katendrecht peninsula. Behind it: the New Orleans residential tower of architect Álvaro Siza, located on the Wilhelminapier. Behind the Wilhelminapier: the Erasmus Bridge (‘Erasmusbrug’ in Dutch). In the front: river boats moared in the old Maashaven harbour basin.
