Sunset over the mouth of the Rijnhaven Harbour Basin.
Beautiful sunset over the mouth of the Rijnhaven harbour basin and river Nieuwe Maas (‘New Meuse’). On the left: Fenixloods II (‘Fenix Shed II’) and animal feed factory Provimi on the Veerlaan on the Katendrecht peninsula. Fenixloods II is one of the two so-called Fenixloodsen, which were in use by C. Steinweg Handelsveem B.V. until recently. On the the horizon: the Lloydkwartier neighbourhood and the Euromast, both on the northbank of the Nieuwe Maas. Note the flakes of ice on the surface of the basin.
