Railway tracks between above-ground subway stations Maashaven and Rijnhaven. On the left: the Maashaven harbour basin. On the right: the Maashaven Oostzijde and ‘Deelgemeentekantoor Feijenoord’, designed by architectural office ‘Bekkering Adams architecten’ and home of the Rotterdam borough of Feijenoord. On the horizon: a blanket of dark rain clouds over the ‘Pols van Katendrecht’ (‘Katendrecht Wrist’), the Kop van Zuid skyline, including the Maastoren and the Wilhelminahof, and residential tower ‘De Hillekop’.
